YANAKIKU is a J-pop duo with a mission to share the wonders of Japan with the world. The exotic and electrifying “YANA” and overload of cuteness “KIKU” are the originators of “KIMOCOS = Kimono meets Cosplay.” Together on stage, this vocal unit delivers a must-see performance.
After their debut in 2012, YANAKIKU was invited to perform at many popular events around the world, including “HYPER JAPAN 2013 (London, UK),” “Furusato Festival (Tokyo Dome, Japan),” “New Year Event with Japanese Artists2014 (Seoul, South Korea),” “AnimeparTy 2nd (Shanghai, China),” “J-POP SUMMIT 2014 & 2015 (San Francisco, USA),” “11th TOKYO INTERNATIONAL MUSIC MARKET (Anison-Idol Night)(Tokyo, Japan)” and many more.
YANAKIKU released their first full album YANAKIKU NO ENBAN in March 2015 and has spent the year promoting it along with multiple performances at festivals in Japan, America, and Asia, including San Francisco’s J-POP SUMMIT and the Yangon Runway Girls Collection feat. Sean Kingston in Myanmar. YANAKIKU’s high-energy performances and bright, funny personalities are winning over music fans worldwide.
YANAKIKU 日本語プロフィール 2012 年 10 月結成。 「柳菊一満デスコ第二幕 – 今年も大団円 唄芸の刻でござい〼」は前売完売で 大盛況のうちに終了。そして現在、日本国内にて精力的にライブ活動中。
2013 年 7 月、イギリス(ロンドン)「HYPER JAPAN2013」出演。
2014 年 1 月、韓国(ソウル)韓国領事館主催「New Year Event with Japanese Artists2014」出演。
5 月、中国(上海)「AnimeparTy 2nd」出演。
6 月、押切もえ出演の話題の動画 CM「D.U.P マスカラ~恋の落とし穴編」の テーマソング「アガル♥ガール」を手がける。
7 月、アメリカ(サンフランシスコ)「J-POP SUMMIT 2014」初出演。 同月下旬、2 度目となるロンドンで行われた「HYPER JAPAN 2014 」メイン ステージへ出演。
9 月、韓国(ソウル)「日韓交流おまつり 2014 in Seoul」出演。 同月中旬、中国(上海)にて中国の字幕型動画サイト bilibili 動画が開催する イベント「BiliBili Macro Link」出演。
10 月、Zepp DiverCity Tokyo にて「11th TOKYO INTERNATIONALMUSIC MARKET -SHOWCASE LIVE-(Anison-Idol Night)」に出演。
2015 年 3 月 4 日、満を持してファーストアルバム「柳菊ノ円盤」をリリース。 同月、マレーシア(クアラルンプール)にて「Hina Matsuri with YANAKIKU」 が開催され、「柳菊ノ円盤」マレーシア盤も発売。
7 月、2 度目のアメリカ(サンフランシスコ)「J-POP SUMMIT2015」に出演。 今年は新設された” 旅館パビリオン” の案内役として大抜擢。
そして 10 月にはミャンマー(ヤンゴン)で行われた「Yangon Runway Girls Collection」に Sean Kingston らと出演。
12 月 12 日に六本木 morph-tokyo にて行われた 2 度目のワンマンライブ
