Mitz Mangrove


As one of the most prominent cross-dressing celebrities in Japan, Mitz Mangrove sets herself apart by not using the stereotypical gay vocabulary, instead he communicates through eloquent and expressive language, creating a powerful presence for herself.

She was born on April 10th, 1975 in Yokohama City, Japan. She spent her childhood in London and was admitted to Keio Senior High School upon her return to Japan. After graduating from Keio University (Faculty of Law), she went abroad to study commercial music at University of Westminster in UK. She made her debut as a singer through Nippon Columbia with “Wakaitte Subarashii” in March, 2011 and is currently active as a member of a choral trio “Hoshikuzu Scat” with the release of “Magnet Joe ni Kiwo Tsukero” in June, 2012. Another single from Hoshikuzu Scat, “Go Ranshin,” was just released at the end of 2015.

ミッツ・マングローブ
1975 年 4 月 10 日 神奈川県横浜市生まれ。
父親のロンドン転勤に伴い小学 5 年~中学 3 年までを英国で過ごす。 慶応義塾高校~慶応義塾大学法学部政治学科を卒業後、英国ウェストミンスター大学へ留学。 オネエ言葉を多用せず、知的で丁寧な言葉と表現力が魅力。
