Hongry Kong presents a “茶餐廳,” better known as a Hong Kong Style Café, the most iconic representation of Hong Kong’s dining culture. Their products are a reflection of more than 20 years of successful experience in the bakery and bistro business originating in Hong Kong.
Hongry Kong started with two friends due to their shared love for Hong Kong foods. They brought the passion they felt as children eating all the delicious foods cooked by their aunts, uncles, grandmothers, and grandfathers in the great HK. From the very yummy Egg Tarts and Hong Kong style Milk Tea they had for breakfast to the absolutely scrumptious Curry Chicken Cutlets over a bed of rice for dinner, there was no end to the deliciousness provided by Hong Kong cooking. Years later, after meeting and discovering their common background in high school, they decided to bring that passion and joy they felt back in Hong Kong to the food-centered Bay Area. They decided that the best way to go about this was to create Hongry Kong.
